Geram dengan Limbah Debu Angkutan Batu Bara, Warga Lebuai Bandung Gelar Aksi

Securitynews.co.id, MUARA ENIM- Puluhan warga Kelurahan Lebuay Bandung Kecamatan Merapi Timur Kabupaten Lahat menggelar aksi damai terkait mobilitas angkutan batu bara yang melintas di jalan nasional, yang menghubungkan Muara Enim-Lahat, tepatnya di Kelurahan Lebuay Bandung, Senin (27/2).
Aksi tersebut lantaran warga Kelurahan Lebuay Bandung belum mendapatkan jawaban atas permintaan pembersihan debu dan limbah batu bara dari simpang tiga batas Kabupaten Muara Enim dengan Lahat sampai ke jembatan rel Kereta Api wilayah Kelurahan Lebuay Bandung

Pantauan di lokasi warga terlihat berkumpul di sepanjang jalan lintas tersebut, sejak pukul 17.30 WIB hingga pukul 20.00 WIB. Sementara itu puluhan anggota Polres Lahat terpantau turun langsung untuk mengamankan aksi tersebut, sebelum akhirnya ada penyampaian pendapat dan upaya mediasi hingga warga sepakat untuk memberikan tenggat waktu kepada Polres Lahat untuk memanggil perusahaan terkait selama 3 hari ke depan.

Menyikapi hal itu, Koordinator Aksi, Hermanto mengatakan pihaknya sudah kesal karena sudah 3 kali bersurat kepada perusahaan (transportir) yang kerap melintas namun belum ada jawaban.

Di antara perusahaan yang kerap melintas rata-rata dari arah Muara Enim, kata dia, seperti PT BAS, PT MME, PT SBP, PT PGU, dan PT BGG, dari pihak perusahaan tersebut belum ada upaya untuk mendatangi atau melakukan pembicaraan dengan masyarakat apalagi tindakan untuk membersihkan debu. “Intinya kami meminta kepada pihak perusahaan angkutan batu bara yang melalui jalan umum simpang tiga batas kabupaten sampai dengan jembatan rel kereta api wilayah kelurahan lebuay bandung dapat di bersihkan dari limbah dan debu yang di akibatkan oleh angkutan batu bara dengan cara menyapu dan melakukan penyiraman,” tegasnya.

Pihaknya meminta perusahaan yang melintas agar memberdayakan masyarakat kelurahan terkait debu dan limbah yang sudah berdampak sangat parah, karena selama ini belum pernah ada upaya pembersihan dari perusahaan terkait. “Surat yang kami layangkan sudah kami tembuskan ke perusahaan terkait, termasuk mengenai aksi hari ini, ke Bupati Kabupaten Lahat, Ketua DPRD Kabupaten Lahat, Kalpolres Lahat, Kalpolsek Merapi, Danramil. 405-02. Merapi, Camat merapi timur dan Lurah Lebuay Bandung,” jelasnya.

Dikatan Hermanto, pihaknya menuntut agar perusahaan terkait memperhatikan tuntutan mereka, tidak ada pilihan lain selain pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk membersihkan debu dan limbah dengan cara disiram.

Kapolres Lahat, AKBP S Kunto Hartono melalui Kabag Ops Polres Lahat, Kompol Aan Sunardi mengatakan pihaknya selaku Aparat Penegak Hukum (APH) akan selalu mengakomodir dan mengayomi masyarakat.

Terkait dua tuntutan masyarakat, kata Aan, tentang penyapuan dan penyiraman jalan, pihaknya akan mengakomodir dan menyampaikan hal itu, pihaknya dalam hal ini Polres Lahat akan membantu memfasilitasi warga untuk bertemu dengan pihak perusahaan. “Kamis akan dilakukan pemanggilan terhadap kedua belah pihak, ada 5 perusahaan yang akan dipanggil 4 dari Muara Enim dan 1 perusahaan dari Lahat,” pungkasnya.
