Securitynews.co.id, PALEMBANG- Kepala SMAN 18 Palembang Heru Supeno mendukung siswanya dalam kegiatan beroganisasi dan pengembangan kreativitas siswa. “Kita memotivasi pelajar untuk belajar berorganisasi. Karena melalui organisasi, pelajar itu saling tukar informasi. Kalau Forum Pelajar Sumsel itu tujuannya untuk menggali aspirasi dari para pelajar ditampung. Kemudian ada yang aspirasi ini disampaikan ke Diknas Provinsi, dan Diknas Provinsi minta tindaklanjuti Pak Gubernur. Ini ajang yang cukup bagus berarti ini pelajar-pelajar kreatif luar biasa dan keren,” ujarnya saat diwawancarai usai deklarasi dan pelantikan Forum Pelajar Sumsel di SMKN 2 Palembang, Selasa (16/8/2022).
Lebih lanjut Heru menuturkan, di SMAN 18 Palembang itu kreativitas itu nomor satu. Siswa itu dunia pendidikan harus punya kreativitas. Karena tanpa kreativitas itu tidak ada inovasi, dan tanpa inovasi tidak ada perubahan. Dan tanpa perubahan berarti tidak ada pendidikan. “Jadi berkembangnya pendidikan itu harus diawali pemberian waktu kepada siswa untuk berkreasi. Tentu dengan pengawasan guru supaya hasilnya positif. Jadi seperti itu dibuka selebar-lebarnya siswa untuk berkreasi tentu dengan melalui organisasi,” katanya.
Lebih lanjut Heru megungkapkan, Organisasi OSIS adalah wadah pelajar untuk berkreativitas. Selain OSIS, ada ekstrakulikuler. “Ada ekstrakurikuler ada Pramuka itu semuanya dalam rangka untuk kreativitas siswa. Jadi selain osis ada organisasi lain Pramuka ekstrakurikuler lainnya seperti kesenian, bujang gadis, duta-duta itu dalam rangka untuk kreativitas,” beber Heru.
“Kita support organisasi dan kreativitas siswa melalui dana BOS dan dana komite. Itu disiapkan untuk kreativitas siswa untuk belajar untuk kreativitasnya dalam berorganisasi dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler Pramuka. itu harus disupport kalau tidak di support aja bagaimana mau kreatif kalau tidak ada dananya. Jadi sekolah wajib menyiapkan secara khusus dana untuk kreativitas baik dana BOS atau komite sekolah. Itulah tugas kepala sekolah makanya dengan adanya ikut lomba, kompetisi. Bagaimana mau juara kalau lomba tidak ikut,” terang Heru.
Ke depan Heru berharap, dengan adanya Forum Pelajar Sumsel ini, maka pelajar lebih terbuka wawasannya lebih tahu tentang tugasnya. Bonus demografi ke depan tahu arahnya ke mana. “Dia bisa berperan kepada negara melalui karakternya melalui pembelajaran literasinya dan kompetensinya dia bisa ikut mewarnai kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara kalau dia sudah tahu ilmunya,” tandasnya.
