Askolani berusaha menjadi suami siaga, dengan mempersiapkan segala keperluan sang istri jelang persalinan.
Seperti dirasakan banyak wanita pada umumnya, Fitri mengaku deg-degan menjelang melahirkan anak pertamanya ini. Namun dirinya tetap berfikir positif dan bersemangat karena sudah menjadi fitrahnya sebagai seorang wanita.
“Karena sebentar lagi lahiran kami deg-degan sih. Deg-degan excited banget karena anak pertama,” kata Fitri, Jum’at (02/10/2020).
“Persiapan alhmdulillah perlengkapan bayi juga ada,” lanjut Fiti, saat ditanya soal persiapan yang sudah ia lakukan.
Selalin mempersiapkan perlengkapan bayi, dikatakan Fitri, yang tak kalah penting adalah persiapan fisik dan mental. “Siapin mental juga sih, tenaga buat begadang,” ucap Fitri, yang berharap bisa melahirkan lewat proses normal.
Ketika ditanya awak media tentang rencana anaknya mau jadi dokter atau mengikuti jejak sang Ayah, Fitri mengatakan sejauh ini belum terpikirkan. ”Yang penting sekarang anak yang lahir dan saya sehat lahir barhin. Harapan saya sekarang saya diberikan kekuatan, kelak menjadi anak yang sholeh/sholeha, berbakti kepada kedua orang tua dan berguna bagi nusa, bangsa dan negara,” harapnya.
