Secara Spontan Bantu Tambahan Modal Untuk UMKM
PALEMBANG – Dukungan dan perhatian khusus memang terus diberikan Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru terhadap keberlangsungan para pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM).
Diberbagai kegiatannya, Gubernur Herman Deru kerap kali meninjau langsung usaha yang dikelola oleh masyarakat.
Seperti saat safari Jum’at yang dilakukannya di Masjid Jamik At Taubah di Jalan KH Wahid Hasyim, Tuan Kentang Palembang, pada Jum’at (6/5). Dimana, disela safari Jum’at tersebut, Gubernur Herman Deru secara spontan meninjau beberapa usaha masyarakat, mulai dari warung sarapan pagi, pedagang sayur, counter handphone hingga usaha pembuatan kotak telur.
Herman Deru mengaku bangga terhadap berbagai usaha yang dilakukan masyarakat.
“Ini membuktikan setiap orang memiliki kreatifitas jika kita mau. Seperti usaha pembuatan kotak telur ini. Usaha mungkin tergolong sederhana, tapi tidak banyak orang terfikir untuk menjalankan usaha ini,” kata Herman Deru.
Menurut Herman Deru, usaha pembuatan kotak telur tersebut tentu berdampak positif dengan terciptanya lapangan kerja baru bagi masyarakat setempat.
“Usaha ini tentunya sangat menginspirasi dan membuka lapangan kerja baru. Tentu saya sangat bangga dengan usaha yang dikelola masyarakat ini,” terangnya.
Apalagi, sambungnya, usaha tersebut tidak membutuhkan modal yang begitu besar.
“Modalnya memang tidak besar, tapi bisa melibatkan banyak masyarakat untuk membantu dalam usaha tersebut. Ini sangat kreatif,” paparnya.
Momen safari Jum’at juga memang kerap kali menjadi sarana Gubernur Herman Deru untuk bertemu langsung dengan masyarakat.
“Safari Jumat ini tidak hanya untuk menjalankan ibadah tapi melihat kondisi sekitar. Jadi sebagai umaro, kita bisa mendengar langsung aspirasi masyarakat, termasuk aspirasi UMKM ini. Saya harap ini juga dilakukan kepala OPD. Bukan hanya sesaat tapi berkesinambungan,” imbuhnya.
Selain melakukan peninjauan Gubernur Herman Deru juga memberikan bantuan tambahan modal kepada para pelaku UMKM di kawasan Masjid Jamik At Taubah.
Diketahui, usaha pembuatan kotak telur yang dikelola oleh Sazili tersebut dinilai memang cukup menjanjikan.
“Satu kotak dijual Rp5 ribu. Dalam satu hari bisa membuat kotak telur sebanyak 40 sampai 50 kotak. Sebetulnya, produksi kotak telur ini bisa lebih, tapi karena kendala peralatan jadi hanya bisa 40 kota perhari,” katanya.
Dimana dalam pembuatan 40 kotak telur tersebut Sazili mengeluarkan modal Rp50 ribu untuk pembelian kayu dan paku.
“Kita memotong menggunakan gergaji mesin. Ada warga yang membantu saya membuatnya,” tuturnya.
Sazili mengatakan, dirinya berencana akan mengembangkan usahanya tersebut sehingga bisa menjadi lapangan kerja baru bagi warga lainnya.
“Alhamdulillah pak Gubernur membantu modal untuk membeli gergaji mesin. Mudah-mudahan ini bisa berkembang dan usaha saya ini bermanfaat bagi masyarakat sekitar,” tuturnya.
Tidak hanya membatu para UMKM, Gubernur Herman Deru jugamemberikan sejumlah bantuan untuk pengembangan Masjid Jamik At Taubah.
“Tentu kita sangat berterima kasih kepada pak Gubernur yang telah memberikan perhatian terhadap masjid At Taubah ini. Dengan bantuan yang diberikan, tentu masjid kami ini akan berkembang,” katanya.
Dia mengatakatan, jemaah masjid memang telah lama menantikan kehadiran sosok Gubernur inovatif tersebut.
“Kita memang telah lama merindukan kehadiran bapak Gubernur. Alhamdulillah kali ini beliau menyempatkan diri untuk hadir meskipun di tengah kesibukannya. Semoga apa yang dilakukan beliau bermanfaat bagi masyarakat,” pungkasnya.
