Ketua IKA PMII Sumsel, Amiruddin Nahrawi yang biasa disapa dengan Cak Amir berharap agar setelah pelantikan PKC PMII Sumsel ke depan lebih maju lagi karena PMII merupakan salah satu harapan bangsa.
Sementara dalam sambutannya Ketua PKC PMII Sumsel Pardinan mengucapkan terima kasih kepada seluruh senior dan para undangan serta anggota jajaran lainnya yang telah mensupport segala rangkaian kegiatan PMII Sumsel. “Pada dasarnya meminta support supaya kami bisa menjadi pengurus yang benar-benar amanah dan bisa menjaga serta merawat PMII dalam situasi dan kondisi apapun,” ungkapnya.
Perdinan mengatakan bahwa PMII di Sumsel ada 6 cabang definitif, ada 4 dalam persiapan. “Dan maka nanti kita semua berkomitmen untuk menumbuhkan kaderisasi disetiap rayon dan di setiap kampus karena hidup PMII ada di kampus,” tukasnya.
