Wabup H. Slamet berharap agar gerakan pramuka dapat meningkatkan kembali peran dan kiprahnya di tengah masyarakat. Baik itu di tingkat Kwartir Cabang, Kwartir Ranting maupun Gugus Depan (sekolah).
”Saya meyakini gerakan pramuka adalah wadah pembinaan karakter bagi anak anak dan remaja/pemuda. Karena memiliki kegiatan menarik dan mengandung unsur pendidikan yang baik. Serta bagi orang dewasa sebagai wadah untuk mendarmabaktikan dirinya secara sukarela bagi kepentingan kepramukaan, masyarakat, bangsa dan negara,” ucap dia.
