Securitynews.co.id, JAKARTA– Kecelakaan tragis terjadi. Tepatnya, Odong-Odong tertabrak Kereta Api di Kragilan, Serang, Banten pada hari Selasa 26 Juli 2022. Akibat kecelakaan ini sejumlah orang meninggal dunia dan lainnya luka-luka.
Direktur Operasional Jasa Raharja Dewi Aryani Suzana, mengatakan Jasa Raharja akan menyerahkan santunan kepada seluruh korban yang terlibat dalam kecelakaan tersebut. Baik santunan meninggal dunia yang akan diserahkan kepada ahli waris, maupun santunan biaya perawatan/pengobatan yang akan ditransfer ke rumah sakit dimana korban tersebut dirawat. Santunan ini sebagai wujud manifestasi Negara Hadir melalui Jasa Raharja dalam memberikan perlindungan dasar kepada masyarakat yang mengalami musibah kecelakaan alat angkutan umum dan kecelakaan lalu lintas jalan.
Dewi menyampaikan, dalam waktu singkat setelah data dan verifikasi serta kelengkapan administrasi santunan korban lengkap, Jasa Raharja menyerahkan santunan sebesar Rp 50 juta melalui mekanisme transfer ke rekening ahli waris yang sah.. Hal itu sesuai dengan Peraturan Menteri Keuangan RI No.15 Tahun 2017. “Kami menyampaikan bela sungkawa dan duka cita yang mendalam. Semoga keluarga diberikan ketabahan menghadapi musibah ini. Kami menyampaikan terima kasih kepada para pihak yang telah membantu kelancaran proses penyelesaian santunan Jasa Raharja,” ungkapnya.
Direktur Operasional mengingatkan kepada masyarakat agar senantiasa tertib berlalu lintas pada saat menggunakan kendaraannya. Terlebih bagi masyarakat yang menggunakan angkutan umum untuk bijak dalam memilih moda angkutan yang resmi dan berstandar keselamatan serta memastikan bahwa angkutan tersebut merupakan angkutan umum yang telah berijin. Selanjutnya bagi pemilik kendaraan pribadi, Dewi mengingatkan kembali agar senantiasa taat dalam membayar pajak kendaraan bermotor di Kantor Bersama Samsat.
Sebagaimana diketahui, bahwa Jasa Raharja merupakan BUMN yang diberikan amanah untuk memberikan perlindungan dasar kepada masyarakat korban kecelakaan lalu lintas melalui Undang-Undang No. 33 dan 34 Tahun 1964 tentang Dana Pertanggungan Wajib Kecelakaan Penumpang Umum dan Lalu Lintas Jalan. Adapun, besaran santunan yang diberikan telah diatur berdasarkan Keputusan Menteri Keuangan RI No.15 dan No.16 Tahun 2017.
