Securitynews.co.id, PALEMBANG- Penilaian kinerja Kabupaten dan Kota dalam pelaksanaan aksi konvergensi percepatan penurunan stunting terintegrasi Provinsi Sumsel tahun 2020 digelar di Graha Bina Praja, Selasa (13/10/2020). Acara tersebut dihadiri Wakil Gubernur Sumsel H Mawardi Yahya.
Wakil Gubernur Sumsel Mawardi Yahya mengatakan, menurunkan stunting ini merupakan tugas bersama. “Stunting ini permasalahan yang multi dimensi, harus ada kerja sama terintegrasi agar dapat menurunkan angka stunting di wilayah Sumsel,” ujarnya.
Menurut Mawardi, permasalahan ini dikatakannya multi dimensi, karena stunting dapat terjadi disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor. Di antaranya gizi yang kurang, pelayanan kesehatan yang tidak optimal, kemiskinan, lingkungan yang buruk, sumber air yang kotor, dan Iainnya.
“Untuk memecahkan permasalahan ini harus menerapkan aksi konvergensi seperti analisa situasi. Yakni dengan merencanakan sebuah kegiatan untuk penanganan stunting, menyosialisasikan tentang cara menghindari stunting, dan lainnya. Ini harus dilakukan secara terus menerus,” imbuh Mawardi.
Mawardi mengimbau kepada para orang tua agar dapat memberikan makanan dan minuman yang bergizi agar tumbuh kembang anak terhindar dari stunting. Bidan desa juga dapat berperan Iebih aktif untuk mendata dan memantau perkembangan anak, baik yang baru dilahirkan ataupun yang sudah beranjak tumbuh.
“Peran sosialisasi dapat dilakukan oleh bidan-bidan desa dan juga para penyuluh yang ada di desa agar masyarakat desa dapat mengerti dan memiliki pemahaman yang baik agar anak anaknya bisa terhindar dari stunting,” tandasnya.
Sementara itu, Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Banyuasin Rini Pratiwi mengungkapkan, sesuai dengan sambutan Pak Wagub, masalah stunting ini adalah multi dimensi dan lintas lini.
“Untuk menurunkan stunting di Banyuasin kita mengoptimalkan peran puskesmas dan Dinkes. Di Dinkes kita melakukan peningkatan SDM kawan kawan bagaimana cata menangani stunting. Sedangkan di Puskesmas kita minta untuk melakukan sosialisasi cara pengeolahan makanan yang baik, memberikan asupan gizi yang baik bago anak dan lainnya,” katanya.
Rini menambahkan, pihaknya menargetkan menurunkan angka stunting di Banyuasin secepatnya. Namun hal tersebut tidak bisa selesai oleh Dinkes saja. “Penurunan angka stunting ini tidak hanya tugas kita. Tapi eran serta semua pihak,” tandasnya.
